Arguments on which I can' take any side.

Generally When it comes to arguments, I like taking one side and exploring the deepest of the deepest aspects of the same. This selection of sides comes by an instinct, but here are some arguments I am afraid of. Because I never ever can take a side and argue with the opponent. May be because the opponent has as many good points of argument as I do , or may be I myself am not convinced . I list the various points of those arguments here.

1. Respecting national anthem:
·         A:
·         Minimum responsibility to nation
·         Payoff for all the freedom you enjoy
·         Other countries salute to our greatness, why don’t' u?
·         B:
·         Respect doesn’t imply from stand-sit exercises
·         Hardly among those who stand up for anthem in public, do it when they are alone
·         It’s nothing but a social greeting to standup for the anthem. Nothing like paying respect.

2. Brain Drain:
·         A:
·         Its selfish to flee away to another country after utilizing the nation's best services.
·         There are things much more important than money, like responsibility towards nation, social service etc.
·         B:
·         Development of nation <== >development of individual.
·         Why limit your opportunities staying in the same place if one can explore the wide range of opportunities across the globe.
·         E.g. Rakesh Sharma would never have become a "First Indian in space" if he had stuck to India.

3. IIT'ians opting for management though they are destined for Engineers.
·         A:
·         Why come to IIT if you plan to take a management stream, why not take a CA or some such stream from the beginning.
·         Minimum responsibility to contribute to the knowledge bank of India, which stands a lot far in the field of scientific research.
·         B:
·         Management does requirement the presence of mind and the common sense, which IIT's don’t differ in imbibing in the students.
·         India needs brighter business man too, there's hardly any business man in India with Steve Job's vision, Bill Gate's spirit.
·         Management doesn’t mean mere counting profit and loss. It’s an effective application of the technical knowledge in the field along with proper understanding of market analysis. IIT's taught me technical aspects, and i choose to learn market analysis and other stuff in management stream.

3.  Talent and Attitude
·         A:
·         Mere talent if not useless, it's a mere lump of gold. No value unless moulded into ornaments
·         Even the brightest of the brightest players, gain nothing unless they practice.
·         Right Attitude and proper hard work are the keys to success.
·         B:
·         Sachin can never sing, and Latha Mangeshkar can never bat, however hard they work for.
·         If attitude and hard work are paths to success, then talent is a shortcut to the same success.
·         Its like why strain yourself if you can use your brain.

4. Boy and Girl can never be just best friends.
·         A:
·         Friendship itself means wanting to be together. And wat great else can the word love coin , other than the same thing.
·         If a boy wishes that a girl be his side throughout his life to share everything he can, it Love.  Watelse do you define as friendship in between these two people.
·         B:
·         I can have many best friends but I can have only one life partner.
·         So what logic does it stand if you restrict me to be friends with a girl just because i already am in love with another.
·         Friendship comes with simplicity, whereas love with insecurity, possessiveness and much more complexity. And every guy-gal relation need not be so much complex, it can be the simplest possible.

5. Traditions Vs Modernization
·         A:
·         Tradition defines one personality.
·         Where goes your identity, if you are yourself defined by the type of party you were at last Friday night.
·         What in the name of modernization, society has done to the today’s youth opting for night culture which has many severe effects.
·         B:
·         If the line has to be drawn between tradition and modernization, why not draw it during early man stage and why not coin their nude appearance as traditions and the clothing habit as a modernization. the argument ceases here itself
·         Imagine P.T Usha running in the Olympics with a traditional Indian sarees, rather a sport short.
·         Modernization is nothing but adapting to present conditions, which infact is the key to man's very existence.

6. Pragmatist Vs Ideologist
If observed properly, A always is ideological and philosophical. A always preaches the righteousness of a path chosen.
Whereas B is a pragmatist, a practical man. B's only motto is "Live Life...... Stop analyzing it..!!!" . B always believes in the final results and B always keeps himself above everything else.

So who do you think I am..? (I myself am wondering....)
