Thought Tickles: Moment of GOLD.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur holds many traditions which it had hailed from long tym and one among those being ILLUMINATION.
Illumination is a special event on the Diwali night making the night much more special. Infact the essence of this event stood primarily to make the students aware of the diya tradition on the eve of Diwali.Ya is essence is still alive but "which hall is more aware of diya tradition " took the primary priority . :D

Hmm being an RK'ite i shud be boasting about our splendid performance and a marvellous output . This GOLD is a dream that RK had been dreaming to gain back from 5 years. Last illu which i seen (Kurukshetra theme) met with an accident and lost the chance.But this year no second chance was taken. And no second thought for judges even.

@ 12:40 there was a huge mob waiting outside gymkhana awaiting the results. Needless to say the cheer on every RK'ite face even b4 the result.And ya its the tym now.

3'rd place goes to Sarojini Naidu Hall Of residence.
2'nd prize goes to lala lajpatroy hall of residence
1'st prize goes to ..".......mob shouts.."RK RK RK RK RK RK"
"1'st prize goes to Radhakrishnan Hall of residence" ( I couldnt hear this line though :) )

YO RK......theres "YO RK " evrywhere. The students waiting to burstout of happiness finally did it.And no one cared for rangoli results.The feel of "Gold in Illumination" swapped the entusias in the other happenings. A procession along with the rasgulla pot and Gold cup kicked off with the massive Tempo shout at gymkhana. Then started the 2.2 in the direction of PAN. And ha der was little confusion and exciting thriller scenes at pan loop but everything was just out of excitement(RK) and frustation(PAN..they havent bagged a single position out the six illu+rangoli). Hmm..and the procession ended peacefully.And there were countless number of temposhouts at gymkahana, HJB, panloop,veggies, RLB:D ....

And finaly GOLD cup entered its home.And the internal celebration started in RK. Its really a wonderful scene seeing all the seniors kissing the trophy. It showed their senti for illu.

If there's a list mentioning the people behing this gold.....the list start with...2'nd years,1'st years, captains, Mallik Da, Manish Da, Omie,Surekha,RKJ, all superfinal years, 3'rd years (:)),4'th years,Rao Ji, Mess workers,Gopal Da, all the Watchmen whom not...every one played some or the other role in this GOLD winning illu.
